Track record matters when you're handing over your student records. eSchool has years of continuous operation behind it and, unusually for this market, references at large multi-campus institutions that you can actually verify by phoning the schools. If you run a big chain or a well-known institution, that history is a real form of risk reduction and we won't pretend otherwise.

Where the pricing model diverges

eSchool bills per student per month, from around PKR 15 for a single branch, with no free tier. That's a low headline rate and it's genuinely cheap for a small school. The thing to model is what happens as you grow, because a per-student rate scales linearly with enrolment while a flat rate doesn't.

Edflo charges a flat monthly price per school-size band: PKR 2,999 up to 150 students, PKR 6,999 up to 700, PKR 14,999 up to 1,500. At 200 students, per-student billing at PKR 15 is cheaper than our band. At 700 students it's PKR 10,500 against our PKR 6,999. At 1,500 it's PKR 22,500 against our PKR 14,999. The crossover is somewhere around the 300-student mark, so where you sit on that curve should drive the decision more than any feature list.

How to actually decide between them

Don't decide on a feature grid, ours included. Shortlist both, then run a real trial with one class of your own data rather than the vendor's demo data, and put your fee clerk and a senior teacher in front of it instead of doing the trial yourself. If they can't work comfortably within a week, no feature list rescues it.

Ask both of us the same four questions: which payment rails you support for my bank; can you generate a result card from my template with my data, on this call; what are your support hours during fee week; and will you put a data-export clause in writing.
